Gaming is a lifestyle

Who’s behind the keyboard?

Well hello there!

The guy behind the keyboard goes by the name Mike, and is currently located somewhere in Copenhagen, Denmark!
I’m a blogger and a casual gamer, hoping to make it far in eSport and just to support the amazing gaming community!

Currently I’m doing some hardcore wiping in World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria, getting my ass raped in Starcraft II and dominating League of Legends every now and then!

This blog will be updated as often as possible, with news on the progress on the glorious road to become the worlds greatest gamer (or that is the dream at least!). Other than that there will be random updates (mainly) from the gaming world, depending on if i find it interesting and/or important.

You can follow me on twitter and facebook and you’re more than welcome to add me at Lindquist#1866 on EU Battle.net and Lindquist on League of Legends EU West!Hopefully I’ll manage to get my hands on a proper computer so that I can stream and upload videos from various games that’ll be playing!

I think that’s it for now, thanks for reading and hope you’ll enjoy the blog!

  2. Hi Mike, is Danish your first language? You speak (I mean, type πŸ˜› ) superb English. I feel so ashamed as I only know one other language to a mediocre level – French. Everyone I’ve met online from Finland, Norway, Holland and Denmark all speak English to expert level!

    • Hey there! Thanks a lot ^^ Danish is my second language, as I’m from the Faroe Islands! I think the Scandinavian countries are generally good at English as we learn it from a very young age, although I’ve learned my English mostly from movies and video games

  3. Just saw your post about wanting to go to Sweden and escape the Faroe Islands hehe. I have to be honest and say I’d never heard of the place before, which is shocking seeing as it’s just off the coast of the UK. Now I know all about it! (Wikipedia may have helped there…)
Yes, all Scandinavian countries are extremely adept at English. I’ve just been working with a girl from Sweden who is a great English speaker. She introduced us to lots of cool Swedish foods, and traditions like Lucia. If I had to move to a different country, I would probably choose Sweden πŸ™‚

    • Not surprised you havent heard about it, I rarely meet people who have ^^ Ever since I met a few swedes on WoW I’ve been more or less interested in moving to Sweden, mainly because it sounded so awesome! But ever since I got interested in eSport Sweden would be the obvious choice.. Sweden is the South Korea of Europe πŸ˜› Never been there for more than a weekend, but can’t get enough of it πŸ™‚
